BandMaster comes with an in-game note editing tool allowing players could create their own charts with hitsound. Instead of spending time cutting and splitting sound from an MP3 file, BandMaster instead uses the MIDI file to create sound in game, allowing for faster and easier way to approach the music.
BandMaster also supports up to 6 tracks per song, meaning that one song could include multiple instruments for players to perform together, making it unique.
Starting from 2009, the game was made in South Korea and soon distributed to many South East Asia countries including Vietnam, The Philippines and Thailand. Despite being around for a short period of time, people still in love with this game because its uniqueness and mechanism.
BandMaster is divided into 3 main game modes: Single Play, Multiplay and Community.
As the name suggest, in this mode, you can single practice with official songs as well as songs from your friends made!
There are 4 different modes in multiplay: SOS Mode, Concert Mode, Score Mode, Shutter Mode. Each mode has its own unique and you should try to get a better idea about them.
Where you could gather around and playing together in concert mode. You can meet friends there and chatting with each other.
